Ending 08

I feel like I should be ending 2008 on a high note, and starting 2009 on the right foot. Fortunately, Santa hooked me up with just the thing. Michael Phelps Frosted Flakes. Okay, so it’s not exactly Wheaties, but I think it will get the job done. Phelps is on the box after all. I’m probably going to be setting personal bests in the pool all year long.

Let it Snow….Later!

sydHere’s the thing: I need it not to snow anymore. Don’t get me wrong, any other year I’d be praying for snow. I would. I love the snow.

It’s just that this year I’m video taping my classroom and I simply need THE PERFECT lesson before December 19th. It hasn’t happened yet. I’ve been taping, taping and taping some more and need a few more mornings.

This whole snow thing is the squeaky wheel. It’s a thorn in my side. It’s…it’s, horrible. I need for school to be in session. Please let me do my job….oh, please. Then we can go enjoy the snow. I’ll make a few snow angels and build a wonderful snow fort. Just let me press record a few more times this week.

Hannah is Hiding Pictures

I was searching for a picture frame to use in the new pumpkin room, and found one with a couple pictures stashed away in it. It seemed like a good frame candidate, so I started to pull the old pictures out. There were a couple of Hannah and me, and some landscape shots. Tucked away at the bottom of the pile was a picture of some guy.

He looks vaguely familiar, but I can’t quite place him. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not really worried. He is wearing socks with his sandals.
