84 Popsicles Later (Revised)
It is so hot. Yesterday, when it was a lot less hot, I decided to hose myself off. I thought this was the much more mature option-running through the sprinkler alone just didn’t seem as cool. So, I turn the water on expecting it to be lukewarm and somewhat refreshing.
The water was burning hot, too-hot-for-hot chocolate- hot.
The sprinkler is totally the way to go today.
Plus, Barry is working from home today and already has his swim trunks on. This means I won’t have to do the Sprinkler Walk of Shame alone! I better go save him from melting.
UPDATE: Immediately after posting this a former student called me and invited me to his grandma’s house down the street to swim in her pool. I have just been soaking, splashing and swimming for the last 3 hours with the whole family. Ahhhhhh…….
