Information Man

Enjoying the book outside.

Dear Barry,

You amaze me. I’ve always thought that you were incredible, but lately I watch you in awe and appreciation. You’ve been reading the “Heading Home with Your Newborn” book and reporting what you learn with such excitement and care. The book showed up at our house via Camp Janet and you swooped it up and have hardly put it down. Perhaps today we’ll talk more about bathing techniques…

I can not wait to see you as a father.

I simply know that you are going to be the best.

Love,

Hannah

I am THAT Pregnant Lady

Hannah, Nicole & Lara (in the Z print)

I waddle, I grunt, I move at a snail’s pace, I’m round, I’ve sprouted chubby arms, a double chin and a whole new butt (gross, I know).

I’ve stopped bragging about not having stretch marks – not because I got any – but because I’d also been bragging about not having swollen feet and suddenly my feet are HUGE. I don’t want stretch mark karma. No, sir-ee.

Predictions aside, I’ve entered in to the ‘I think I’m done being pregnant, but my baby isn’t on her way’ stage.  Oh, pregnancy you have been fun, but motherhood sounds so much more appealing.

Bring it.

It Rocks Too!

Since I’m good for about 10 sentences these days – limited energy/focus/brain power, etc. – I contemplated posting just pictures. Welp, I put some words and this post is full of zingers, insight and plain old excitement. Hold on to your hats!

I brought Barry along on a rocking chair frenzy a few weeks ago that resulted in us ordering a rocking chair.

After sitting in multiple rockers and gliders we felt a bit lost; however, when we came across this gem we made a quick decision to get it after we both realized how comfortable it was for both of us.

We got to pick out the fabric and I somehow I fell in love with yet another paisley-type  material. Huge surprise, right?

It arrived today and I found myself feeling silently rocking and staring at the wall anticipating these coming days/weeks – how soon before we’re rocking a little babe in this chair!?!

Fear not, at Camp Janet we acquired another small bed for Sydney and it fits just next to the rocking chair.

Now that we’ve got a beloved rocking chair we can get to hanging things on the walls.

Phew.
