Baby Owen
Maggie Mae isn’t the only cute little bug around here. We went to Seattle last week to take pictures of Sarah and Darwin’s newest little babe, Owen. Remember when I took some photos of their little family before he arrived? Owen was by far the most relaxed baby that I’ve ever taken photos of, he slept almost the entire time. Maggie fell in love with him and hunkered down in a corner, while eating her PB& J lunch, and watched as I took photos. Owen has about the same amount of hair that Maggie had when she was a year old and I don’t feel like I captured that part of him quite like I’d hoped. He certainly is beautiful!
On A Favorite Bridge
There is a bridge a few miles away from our house that I secretly love. You don’t really know the bridge is coming, it just appears right at the curve of the road and it is an utter delight to drive over every single time. A few weeks ago it was about to start raining really hard and we were itching to get out of the house, so we decided to go see what the bridge had to offer us. Truth be told, the clouds and sprinkling rain made it a bit dreary to be out taking pictures, but looking at them now, I’m happy with what we got. Plus, I always appreciate photos of us together as a family, even if the self-timer is involved.
