I got to take some pictures this weekend of 7 day old Kannon and his big sister Anyka.
I’ve never, ever been so excited and nervous to take pictures and ever since I left their house I’ve been itching to take a look at what I got.
I made myself real nervous by wondering if maybe none of them would turn out.
I took literally hundreds of photos.
Statistically speaking, because I’m a Math Whiz, the more photos I took, the more chances I’d have at getting something.
What I didn’t take into account was Anyka and Kannon’s utter beauty.
He’s a gem. She’s a rockstar.
Of course I got something.
These aren’t even my very favorites.
You’ll have to wait until Joey & Tyler have a lookie.
Newborn photography is really challenging. (For me, at least)
Happy Monday.
Baby feet to make you happy:
Absolutely stunning!! The one of he and Anyka is to die for! Maybe we can hire you for baby shots for baby #2 if you’re not too famous by then. And no..this is not an announcement. haha 🙂
Awesome! Can’t wait to see more. Newborn photography is *hard*. Well, at least for us we had to time it with daylight hitting the window at a certain hour and the baby being asleep, but if you moved the baby or took her clothes off she got ticked off, which then turned the photography session into a nursing session and we’d have to start all over the next day, beginning with setting up the make-shift studio. Anyway. Nice work! I still wish I had (or could still get) good photos of ME with my chickens. I was hoping my dad would get some when he was here, but it’s not really his thing. Plus, outdoor lighting is always better and it was COLD; we would have been just a mound of puffy coats.
