I should have known. Things just weren’t lining up properly. There was higher than normal traffic and a last minute request made it’s way to my desk just before it was time to leave work yesterday. I was undetered though. I ignored all the signs and went out to Jetty Island anyway. My reward? Very light wind. I ended up getting there as the wind dropped off which meant no kiting for me. Consider the lesson learned: A sunny day at the beach is always better than going home to mow the lawn.
It’s getting close to the wedding date and Hannah has been putting the finishing touches on many of the details. In fact, I stopped by Janet and Flip’s house this weekend to find her putting the finishing touches on the event signage. People have gotta know where the bathroom is right?
Will the iPhone make me a better person? Probably not, but I have a feeling it will make me a more frequent poster. Actually, I’m making this post from the phone right now. Amazing!
