Images from Game Night

We went over to Charlyn and Dave’s last night to play games and eat delicious food. Maggie rolled around with Connor and Cameron – investigating all their fun toys. I don’t remember the last game that Barry and I were able to play together, so it was fun to sit on The Most Comfortable Couch in the World and play “What’s Yours Like.”

Cameron was able to chat-up his BFF, Barry, about his Christmas and New Years celebrations. At one point I heard him telling Barry that on Christmas Eve he was worried that the milk would go bad for Santa, so he made sure his parents kept it cold in the refrigerator. I love that kid!

It was so fun to get together with some of our friends. I had forgotten how much I love playing games, but when the game with cards and small pieces got busted out, we quickly realized that Maggie loves those games the best!

Yahoo for good friends, great games and lots of laughs!!

The Results Are In!

In lieu of a long-winded description of what went down today – I am encouraging you to scroll down a bit and see for yourself. If your heart doesn’t break a little bit for poor Thomas, you might have a heart of stone. I again ask you to ignore the grain and blur of the photos.  Phooey on bad photos, but these are too precious to ignore.

Really, nobody crossed the finish line, but Thomas was mighty close. In all honesty, had he not had a meltdown, he would have won. Lara had to rescue him and he just needed to take a break from hanging out with the girls, I guess.

Meanwhile, Caroline was a bit upset that the long-awaited and much talked about Crawl-Off wasn’t going down.

She has been waiting months to see this show-down. Until next time, Sweet Caro, until next time.

Maggie is limbering up as we speak and Thomas is probably taking a hot bubbly bath.

Photo Overload

I finally got a chance to look at some of the photos that I took from Joe and Claire’s wedding. I noticed a few things:

  1. My camera died and so I didn’t really get to take many photos at all. Plus, Maggie and I skipped out on most of the ceremony because it was hush-hush and Mags wasn’t feeling like being quiet. She left with my mom shortly afterwards.
  2. I handed my camera to lots of people and so I’m in quite a few photos.
  3. I didn’t take any photos of the actual wedding set up. Joe and Claire did a spectacular job and I didn’t document any of it…I don’t even have a picture of Claire.
  4. We’re a smiley bunch.
