Chach & Mags

It has become very apparent lately that Maggie loves Chaya. The other day Chaya came to visit and Maggie was taking a nap. When Maggie woke up and came out to the front room she grinned and made flirty-eyes at Chach while spending a few minutes waking up in my arms, flushed cheeks and curly hair and all.

By the time Maggie was fully awake she had made it to Chaya’s arms and was busy pulling on Chaya’s necklace and poking her cheeks. Lucky for all of us, Chaya feels the same way about Maggie – minus the necklace pulling and cheek poking.  Total mutual adoration.

Party Time

Last week Barry’s parents came to visit Mags and see what she has been up to. Right before they arrived Maggie seemed to be pretty grumpy and her behavior was suggesting that she might need a little shut eye.

Once Greg and Linda arrived, Maggie was all about putting on a show – happily smiling and sing songing her way around the house. Nobody ever said that the child wasn’t strong willed and full of her own ideas.

She pulled out all her tricks and her and Greg got to recreate  their special mirror game – minus Greg’s massive beard, of course.

Before they were even out the door, Maggie had fallen asleep in my arms. She surprises me with how much of a people-person she is, always wanting to be a part of the action and interested in what everybody is doing.  I can hardly wait to see what this looks like when she starts talking.

Big & Little Maggie

While we were in A-Town last week we stopped by Midge’s to see what she was up to. It didn’t take but a few minutes for Maggie and Midge to have some one-on-one conversation on the ground. I feel like my grandma was telling Mags a thing or two about life as a Maggie.

It was really cute to see them together rolling a ball back and forth. Of course Sydney had to get right in there with her bone – making sure she got noticed by Midge, jeesh.

Big Maggie  & Little Maggie, that’s what Izak calls them. Aren’t they cute?  Because I am extremely nostalgic this time of year, here they both are almost a year ago.

Wowaza!

Time is a-flyin’!
