Aloha-ha!

Our day started like this:

Then it looked like this for a short time at the airport:

At first we looked like this on the plane:

Eventually it turned in to this (yahoo!!):

We even looked like this for a short, short time:

THEN we looked like this…..booooo:

We finally arrived and our day started to look like this:

Our day is ending like this:

I’m excited to see what we look like tomorrow.

Toes

He often folds his toes under when he’s eating or explaining something. I’ve tried to do it and I just can’t seem to get my toes to curl in quite the same way. He also rubs his big toe and crosses it over the next toe (does it have a name too?) as he’s enjoying a tasty snack or good conversation.

For some reason this goes on the never-ending list of things that I love about Barry – his flexible toes.

For years now I’ve watched them twist and turn and each time he does it, without a second thought, I find myself laughing quietly. For he isn’t aware of what his toes are doing.

And now as I feed Maggie I have started to notice that her toes curl and crunch in the same way. Everyone says that Maggie looks like me, but I can point to her toes and say that she’s got her father’s toes – without a doubt.

HB Anniversary

Remember when we met all those years ago? We look like babies in this picture, maybe because we pretty much were.

For a long time it was just us two and we had some pretty amazing times and lots of laughs.

But then this Hooligan joined our party. We fell in love with her snorts and wrinkles.

And then we got hitched – to this day I love our wedding more than I ever imagined I would. It was awesome, mostly because I think we’re awesome.

Finally, we got another Hooligan. She doesn’t have as many wrinkles and she only sometimes snorts, but we love her just the same.

To the future!

Happy Anniversary, Barry!
