Are We Taking the Glasses Thing Too Far?

Barry and I have come to learn that Maggie is an observer when we go somewhere new and unfamiliar. She will spend her time staring and watching what is going on, eventually making a decision to join the party.

But when we’re at home, she can be a total nut! She has the ability to ham it up and  is such a little jokester.

With a flip of a switch, though, she can turn back on the serious face and observing eyes.

Out with the Truckers, Kickers & Cowboy Angels

My parents stopped by for a few hours before the really hit the road for their road trip and I’ll admit I’m a bit envious of them going on a trip. Maggie tends to still scream in the car, so a road trip might not be as relaxing with her, but going somewhere sure sounds appealing! Especially if you are hunting for sun, as my parents are.

Maggie has been wearing her sunglasses in hopes of the sun actually showing up, but of course more rain just dumps from the sky. Seriously though, this morning she wore the ridiculous sunglasses that my brother, Phil, got her all morning.

After toe-kisses, rocking horse rides, walks up and down the hallway, books read and tons and tons of snuggles, my parents hit the trail. We haven’t really left the house in the last few days and I think the excitement of having guests pushed Maggie to exhaustion. She practically fell asleep before they were out of the driveway and took a massive nap. Guess we’re still in recovery here @ HBHQ.
