A Helpful Elf

We wrapped some presents for the first time the other day and Maggie was a huge help. She was very interested in the presents.

It was most likely the fancy wrapping paper that she was interested in…

Once she heard the sound of the paper ripping, she was hooked on this whole unwrapping ordeal.

Just using her hands wasn’t good enough, as to be expected with most almost 8 month olds, right?

This present is for 3G and she won’t mind that Maggie put her own touch on it. I’m starting to think that Maggie should add her magic touch to ALL the presents.

P.S. Our meeting with Santa went deliriously well. Pictures to follow.

Picking a Bone

Since Maggie is now very mobile and crawling up  a storm, Sydney has been forced to take into consideration the location of where she enjoys chewing on her bones. Up until this point it has been okay for Syd to chew on her bone within arm’s reach; however, yesterday we discovered that with Maggie’s new found wheels, Syd’s life has changed as well.

Maggie turns into a Pleased Little Pumpkin as soon as she gets her mitts on the bone and Sydney just stares at her, astonished. I think this is just the beginning of  moments like this, or perhaps Syd will figure it out. In that case, I’m sure Maggie will discover something else just as fascinating.
