I never really know what to do when I do a photography session with the images, other than delivering them to the client. But these images I recently took of a friend, pregnant with her fourth, are too good not to share. I mean, she’s stunning. I can feel myself growing as a photographer and I’m learning, slowly at times, how I want to pursue this passion of mine. Head over to my photography website (I’m a small business owner now!!) to see the full session. These are just a few of my favorites.
Hawkins Family
The Hawkins family asked me to shoot some family portraits in December that could maybe be used for their Christmas card and a reveal that they’re expecting their fourth child. After needing to reschedule a few times for various reasons, the day that we finally committed to was very cold and windy. Being a fun and adventerous family, the Hawkins family didn’t let a little PNW weather dampen their mood. The above image was used to announce their pregnancy, which I totally love. Enjoy some of my favorite images from this blustery session.
Finding My Bravery in B’ham
I finally got around to some pictures that I took while attending the Wildflowers workshop late last year. I feel so fortunate to have been able to attend and the women that I met are becoming friends that I can nerd-out and ask photography-related questions to. A few things that I learned about myself at the workshop:
1. I am a creative person.
2. I like to hear REAL stories about life well lived and often adore people brave enough to share.
3. I want to be brave enough to tell those stories through pictures.
4. I am a brave person.
