I had a baby-filled weekend with the newborn photo shoot and my friend Molly’s baby shower. Molly is due with her first baby a few days before Maggie’s birthday, so I’d like to think I know how she’s feeling. Two years ago I was about to burst, except, unlike Molly, I was pregnant all over my body. Even my pinky finger looked pregnant. Molly looks absolutely stunning and her belly just perfectly pops. It didn’t take much cajoling to get her to show me her tummy, and I’m so glad I asked because these pictures are priceless. I had a teacher friend that kept encouraging me to have pictures taken when I was pregnant, and I didn’t (see above about even my pinky being pregnant) and there are very few images of me with Mags in my tummy. And for this reason, I’m glad Molly let me snap a few photos.
What an adventure Molly and her husband Bill are about to embark on. Live will never, ever be the same for them. They’re about to join the coolest club in the world.
