Our whirlwind visit to A-town included these two monkeys jumping on the bed in my old bedroom. The quilt is made by my mom, and the sunshine pillow and babushka pillow made my my aunt for me when I was a little girl. Monkey see, monkey do.
Last weekend we went to a farm with the Merks and spent the day enjoying al the different activities. Audrey got a candy corn painted on her face and Maggie got to pick out pumpkins for all of us. It was a fun way to spend half a day and we played our cards right because the rest of the PNW was watching the Seahawks game while we were at the farm, so we had a calm time before it got crowded. Score one for not having cable, I guess.
A quick one from this summer. My mom and Dad got this bike for Maggie when she was about 20 months old and she liked it just enough. Jump ahead three years and Little Miss Danger Cat loves it. It’s small enough that her little legs reach the pedals and steady enough that she doesn’t feel too wobbly. And the blazing white sweatshirt was a gift from my New Jersey ‘family’ that I lived with and nannied for a couple summers. I should write about that/them someday, but I spent some summers on the Jersey Shore before it had the reputation that it does now….For the record, that white sweatshirt isn’t white anymore.
