The Great Escaping Sydini

I brought Sydney to school today and she successfully escaped two times. I was walking my students back to our classroom after Music and we came around the corner to the courtyard only to see a fat, little pug sprinting….with two of my other students (who were supposed to be elsewhere) chasing after her.

It might be a while before that pug gets an invitation to come back to Room 2.

Oh, what a day.

What. a. day.

On Duty

Hannah and I took a trip into town for a couple hours, and left Sydney with our usual departing comment: “You’re in charge. Guard the house.” Mainly we say this because we find the idea of a pug guard dog rather commical.

When we returned home from our trip we wanted to sneak up to the living room window to see what our “guard dog” was up to. We both guessed that she would be sleeping. We were wrong. As the image attached to this post proves, our dog is nothing if not dedicated to protecting her house.
