It appears that I only took pictures for the first half of September. I haven’t been too motivated lately to get behind the camera and snap my own life, but I’ve been busy shooting for other families, which has filled me up immensely. Most of these shots are from the trip we took to Oregon to celebrate Barry’s birthday, a favorite tradition of gifting ‘experience’ rather than ‘things’. Aside from nearly running out of gas, it was a spectacular few days together. We ended up extending our trip and it was well, well worth it. Perhaps it was the most fun we’ve ever had and the least amount of planning we’ve ever done.
July at a Glance
Here’s the truth: Tomorrow is September and I’m still stuck in June or July. Summer was a blink and now we’re double checking our calendars and getting ready for school to start again. We’re making sure we know where our rain boots are, looking out the window and wondering if the stormy weather is now part of our day-to-day life. Parts of the past few months have been spectacular and others not so much. As always, we’re rumbling full steam ahead.
July, July, July at a glance!!!
June at a Glance
June, June, June. We ended our second year of preschool and ballet and welcomed Summer with open arms. We also went to Anacortes for a few days, the beach, Barry took the girls ‘camping’ at his mom and dad’s, and we hit up Farmer’s Markets and Arts Festivals in Edmonds. I tend not to lug my camera around when we go on adventures or I’m around people that I’m not sure want their picture taken. That said, lots happened that isn’t here.
On our way back from our stay in A-town, we were driving through Skagit Valley and the fields were rolling with golden and green for as far as our eyes could see. The first three images below are from that quick stop, both girls in PJs (Maggie in my tank top since I couldn’t find her PJs). The rest of the images are from our antics at home or in A-town.
