We rented a cabin with some of our friends over the weekend of the 4th. Debbie pointed out that this coming New Years will be the 10th year that our group has gotten together to celebrate. We’ve missed a couple along the way due to having babies/being pregnant, but it seems remarkable that we’ve been enjoying our vacations together for that long. This is the group that I often wish that our schedules collided more often, but we’re pretty spread out, so it is unrealistic to hope for too much more time together. The stories are usually the same, but get funnier each year. This year Jeff and Allison are getting married (yahooo!!!) and so we’ll all get together to celebrate – and I’m willing to bet that more stories will get created. It seems that each of our weddings, there is a ‘classic’ story….that should probably only be repeated in the privacy of our rented vacation homes.
