Two Weeks

Today marks Maggie’s two week  birthday and judging by the above picture she does not look like a happy baby, BUT she is a very, very happy baby.

I snapped this picture during the two seconds that she wasn’t in somebody’s arms today and she was upset about it. We had her two week appointment today and my mom was able to go with us (thank you, Fidge!).

After being weighed and tipping the scale at 8 lbs 15oz, my mom grabbed the pee soaked diaper  we’d just discarded and weighed it determining that seconds before Maggie filled the diaper she was a smooth 9lbs! Apparently our girl likes to eat.

We had loads of visitors today and for the most part Maggie slept through the comings and goings of people stopping by.  I think the poor girl is worn out because after we had our Week Two photo shoot she fell asleep again and is snoozing in the bassinet – a first!

Hard to believe that two weeks have gone by. I’ll probably be saying that sentence for the rest of my life now…”Hard to believe that _______ has gone by!”

I better start believing.
