We snagged a recipe for granola from my mom last time we were up visiting Camp Janet and it is SO, SO good. Our favorite snack is some granola with delicious greek yogurt….yummers!!
Most days after work Barry comes home and topples his granola and yogurt with some fresh fruit. Maggie spots his snack and drops whatever she is doing to go mooch some bites off his spoon. Lovingly, Barry always shares, which is nothing short of a miracle because he loves his snack.
When we installed the Sandy Lagoon (without any sand) I was convinced that summer was about to arrive. I was SO wrong. My dad and grandma love the weather and so I’m sure they’re having fantastic conversations about the tricks Mother Nature is playing on us lately. I seriously left the house yesterday with an umbrella, but by the end of the day Maggie had shorts on and was hanging by the Sandy Lagoon (without any sand).
Last week while the sun came out and stayed Maggie invented a new game which involves her two favorite things: rocks and our potted plants.
The directions are fairly simple, I’ve included a step-by-step for those of you’re interested in playing.
1. Find a rock that you love and act like you are placing it in a potted plant.
2. After sneakily acting like the rock is hidden, pick it up and move it to the other pot.
3. Nestle the rock in the other pot and make sure it is secure.
4. Remove the rock from the second pot and return to the first pot.
5. Repeat and enjoy!
