Before I turned 30 I made a list of things I wanted to do. On that list was the task of asking my grandparents to make a list of accomplishments/memories/moments in their own lives that were remarkable. My Grandma Lowman’s list, which at the time was 86 long for her age, is what follows. We’ve since added on to the list to match up with her 89 years. Today is her 89th birthday and to celebrate her I’m posting her list and the photos from her party at my parents house this past weekend. If her list doesn’t inspire you to get out and DO something, I’ll be shocked. She is a remarkable woman. We read her list aloud as we all sat around the sun room and there were tears mixed with jokes and laughter. Enjoy reading about one of my very favorite women in my life, Maggie’s namesake.
I love this so much! Happy 89th Margaret! You have inspired me since I was a teenager way back when. This list and these pictures are the story of an amazing woman and the family (and extended family!) she has gathered around her for so long. Hats off, bells ringing, and choirs singing to honor you!
