Sydney picked a new stick out, but I think it might be a while before we let it in the house.
It is rather large. We all know that she thinks she’s a huge dog, but this is getting out of control!
Of all the sticks we’ve got in our yard, she decided that this was the best one to take ownership of. It is going to take a lot of work to whittle it down.
It appears that after 20 seconds of working on the stick, she’d had enough. I guess sticks can be used to prop up a weary head.
The Edmonds Farmer’s Market is open and we’re going to head down there and let our dog eat some of the crumbs that have fallen off people’s muffins and bagels.
Yay for the sunny weather!
Our staycation has officially begun! Friday Face has been put on hold because I’m busy enjoying my staycation. We’ll be making our patio fancy, thanks to our friend John. He’s got some fancy tools. He’s also got a ‘cabin’ that is really a beautiful house.
This isn’t supposed to be public knowledge, but John has a fancy pressure washer and he’s letting us use it to make our patio fancy.
It was important that we got the tutorial so we could treat ‘er just right. I paid close attention to the whole process…..becoming more familar with my precious camera.
We learned about the different nozzels, how far to hold it to whatever you are washing and even how to gas that baby up.
I think this might be one of those situations where I might get out of control……I love certain machinery. Driving lawnmowers??? Oh, be still my heart. Bobcats? If only my dad would let me cruise around on one, I’m sure I’d be fine. I typically love machines that involve driving, but this one, this one, you can make designs with!
Or you can take care of business and get the job done. 
I guess this doesn’t mean that we’re going to have “HB Adventure Headquartes” written on our front walkway. Oh, well. Maybe next time John lets us borrow is fancy machinery.
