Again?

This is ridiculous. We managed to lock ourselves out of the house again. Only we didn’t have a phone with us this time and we had Sydney and Sparky with in tow. I got the impression they didn’t understand why we were standing in the cold instead of going into our house that had lights on and music playing.

Luckily, our neighbors were home and let us use their phone to call a lock smith. Even luckier, Hannah was able to get in touch with a lock smith who not only was working at 7:30 on a Friday night, but could get to our place in 15 minutes.

Sure thing I thought cynically, but visited with the neighbors for a while and then headed to stand in our cold driveway. True to his word, the lock smith pulled up within 15 minutes of our call with his wife chating away on her cell phone in the passenger seat. It took him about 2 minutes to have the door open, and then he was off. Impressive. I wonder if he sometimes wears a super hero cape when he gets these calls.

Now, about the hide-a-key I’ve been thinking about ….

Reason # 1 I Keep Writing Papers

BarryHannahInstruction begins when you, the teacher, learn from the learner; put yourself in [their] place so that you may understand what [they] learn and the way [they] understand it.
