Did I Dream That?

SydI was so excited to see little buds making an appearance in our garden. Sydney was able to set up camp outside, rather than on the couch; however, she was more interested in keeping the door open just enough so she could come-just in case SOMETHING happened.

Maybe she knew THIS would happen.

Log Boom Park

A sign letting trail users know they've entered Log Boom Park

We tried out Log Boom Park in Kenmore this weekend. Basically, the park is a little area next to the Burke Gilman Trail that runs through Kenmore.

At first we thought this would be a perfect walk along the water with Sydney, but that wasn’t the case. The Burke Gilman is very popular with cyclists, so we spent most of our time pulling Sydney out of the way of an oncoming bike. At one point she almost got ran over by a children’s pull behind cart.

Don’t get me wrong. This is a great trail to explore. Even better if you have a bike. However, if you’re looking for a nice quiet place to take your dog for a walk I wouldn’t advise it. It’s way too high traffic and there are plenty of better places in the area.
