Most of the time Sydney leaves Maggie’s toys alone and sticks to her own basket of goodies. Occasionally we’ll find Syd chewing on a puzzle piece or Mrs. Potato Head’s earring, but she usually knows that she isn’t supposed to have it and looks very guilty. Maggie has figured out Sydney’s toys and always wants to make a special delivery to Syd, just to make sure Sydney has has total access.
And for a bit extra, Mags throws in a bit of her special lovin’ to make sure that Sydney understands what pals they are. If there were a soundtrack playing to the picture above it would be of either my or Barry’s voice telling Maggie to be gentle and give nice pets. We’d also be telling Syd what a good dog she is.
Because after being pummeled with her bone and having her rolls pinched by tiny fingers, she is a really, really good dog that probably deserves to chew on Mrs. Potato Head’s earring or the corner of a puzzle piece.
