Backyard Tea

On the eve of the last day of school, we got out one of our tea party sets and set up a little celebration corner in our yard. We acted as if the tea (water) was a bit too hot and that if we added lemon (more water), all would be well. Syd tried her best to finagle her way to the scones and fresh fruit, looking so sad and offended.  This wasn’t planned and it only lasted for about 40 minutes, but it certainly was a nice way to be together.

Thanks for the sweet messages about my vague post about cancer. I appreciate it. Life rumbles on and I’m committed to to posting some of these moments. Cancer still looms and dictates. It’s true that we can never know what somebody is going through/feeling. Enjoy this little life-rumble of a tea party.

P.S. It’s Thursday, head over to see I Carry Your Heart for Week 24, it should post soon.
